An attempted abduction occurred on University Avenue at Bakersfield College Wednesday morning, according to Public Safety.

A Hispanic male driving an older model gold color Chevrolet pulled up to a female student and told her to get inside his car.

The female ignored the man and then walked toward a group of students who walked with her onto campus.

The male subject left the scene.
