The scheduled presser for Tuesday has been canceled, according to attorney David Torres.

David A. Torres, the attorney for Jose Arredondo's family is holding a presser at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

This scheduled press conference follows the arrest made in the murder of the well-known Bakersfield businessman.

The state's Attorney General's Office said Monday that a man it identified as 50-year-old Roberto "N" originally from Mexico's Hidalgo state had been arrested for the killing of Arredondo. The suspect had been reported missing by his family.

Mexican authorities say Arredondo's body showed signs of blunt force trauma.
