(UPDATE: October 4, 2018) Atwater Police report that Zarate has been found in the area of Lost Hills.

The Atwater Police Department is looking for a missing 79-year-old man by the name of Avelino Gonzalez Zarate.

Police say that at 11:10 a.m. on October 2, Zarate was reported missing from his home. Zarate has memory loss issues and the family is very concerned. 

Zarate may be in his white Nissan Frontier pick-up truck  2200DDP (CA). Atwater Police said that his vehicle was last spotted in the area of I-5 and Highway 46 last evening.
