PLAINVIEW, Calif. — Officials say they are investigating the disappearance of 36-year-old Brittney Steenbergen who was last seen in her home in Plainview four days ago. Steenbergen's estranged boyfriend and father of her four children Adel Hussein has been identified as a person of interest.
The mother was last seen on Saturday. Her disappearance is being investigated as suspicious and the homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
Steenbergen is described as being a white female, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 200 pounds with brown hair.
Hussein was last seen in the Tipton area around 6:00 p.m on Tuesday, December 31st and is described as 5-feet, 4-inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. e was last seen wearing a grey hat with a “B” on it, a black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes. He is known to drive a Dark blue 2007 Toyota RAV4 with license plate 5XNS883.
