Fire crews are battled a fire in SE Bakersfield on Friday afternoon.

Bakersfield Fire officials say that the fire started at around 3:31 P.M. and it was in a canal behind Windsor St.

The fire has burned close to an acre.

The fire has also burned an outbuilding and several vehicles.

No homes were affected in the fire.

The fire is threatening some power lines.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
