Bakersfield paintball shop Gorilla Airsoft & Paintball was vandalized and burglarized Saturday.
Jerry Ross, the owner, said the alarm went off but claims it never notified anyone. The burglars took anything they could get their hands on. Ross said they empty the drawers so people walking by can see there is no cash in store.
The shop has had registers and some inventory taken in the past.
A lot of the money set aside to buy new inventory for the holidays is now being spent on repairs and replacing customer’s guns, Ross said.
The owner is actively involved in both the local and international airsoft and paintball community.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help offset the costs of the burglary.
