Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Bakersfield Animal Control has canceled the August vaccine clinic. The event was scheduled for Saturday, August 8th from 9 a.m. to noon, at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 1000 S. Owens Street.
"We recommend pet owners utilize private veterinary hospitals at this time to maintain their pet’s health and immunity against contagious disease," said a statement from the Bakersfield Police Department.
