BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Bakersfield City Council is scheduled to meet Wednesday to discuss a possible repeal of an ordinance that allows backyard hens in Bakersfield.

This comes after possible litigation against the city. On Sunday, 23ABC’s Lezla Gooden spoke with a council member and residents about the matter.

Council will hold a hearing on the ordinance Wednesday, and residents are encouraged to weigh in.
