What better was to say happy birthday America, then to check out a baseball game and a fireworks show all in one place.

Well that's exactly what's happening tonight at Sam Lynn ballpark as our very own Bakersfield Blaze takes on the High Desert Mavericks.

Tonight is the teams July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza, where after the game there will be a fireworks show for everyone to enjoy.

The team is calling it their biggest, brightest, and loudest fireworks show of the year.

There will be plenty of food, drinks, and baseball.

Parking is free and some advance tickets start at five dollars.

Gates open at 6-45 and the game starts at 7-45 tonight.

Tickets do sell out so you're going to want to get your tickets early.
