It's a big day for the Bakersfield Blaze, Thursday being the first day of the season and it's the team’s 75th anniversary. 

All week the team will be hosting fun activities for fans to come out and celebrate with the team.

Bakersfield Blaze will be taking on the Visalia Rawhides at 7:15 p.m. at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

23ABC along with the team will give the first 1,000 fans through the gate a vintage jersey in celebration of the team's 75th anniversary.

 But the fun doesn't stop there, this Friday fans will get the chance to meet some of the players and get their autographs from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.

 The first fireworks show of the season will take place Saturday after the game.

A concert featuring Tim Timmons will be happening before Sunday’s game for faith and family night.

This Monday, tickets, hot dogs, beer and soda will all be a dollar during that game.

On Tuesday, the blaze will celebrate social media night, where all Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers will get into the game for free.
