BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials say a 12-year-old Bakersfield boy missing since Friday afternoon has been found.

The Bakersfield Police Department said Samuel Delacruz has been reunited with his family after running away for unknown reasons.

BPD said Delacruz went missing from the 3700 block of Canadian Street Friday around noon time.

It is unclear who located the boy or if he returned on his own will.

BPD thanks the community for their assistance.
