BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield City Council is setting goals for the coming year and officials say there are eight topics that are taking priority. Wednesday the City Council will address how their goals and how they plan to meet them.
This year the council is looking into areas like:
- Public safety services
- Homelessness
- Strengthening diversity in the economy
- Enhancing our city's infrastructure
- Promoting community pride
- While investing in urban development and enhancing public amenities
The council is set to address these goals at their meeting on Wednesday night.
