BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Council members with the City of Bakersfield will host a meeting on Thursday, September 16, to discuss violence prevention and street racing prevention in our local neighborhoods.
The city's Safe Neighborhoods and Community Relations Committee will meet Thursday morning at 9 am. Bakersfield Police Chief Greg Terry is expected to present the research from recent operations in attempts to crack down on street racing and violence within the city.
Again, that meeting will take place Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
