Bakersfield City Fire crews battled a 2nd-alarm structure fire Saturday afternoon.
BFD responded to a structure fire on 34th Street near Jewett Ave around 12:15 p.m.
When fire fighters arrived they observed smoke billowing from a warehouse.
Crews deployed multiple hand lines and were able to knock down fire quickly.
Officials say the building was vacant and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
