Bakersfield City School District free summer meals are here!

Posted

The Bakersfield City School District will be providing meals for 1 to 18-year-olds as part of their Summer Meals Program that kicks off this week.

Federal funds pay for breakfast and dinner for the children. Adults 19 and older can buy a meal if they choose.

Meals are not restricted to those who live in the area and children from all school districts are welcome. Federal regulations state the child may not share any of their food with others.
