The first ever BCSD Junior High Middle School Choir Standards Festival was held Thursday at the Bakersfield College campus.
The festival measured students’ progress in meeting performance standards in their choir classes.
The festival was held at the college’s indoor theater.
Since 2015, participation in choir classes has grown more than 400%.
