Migrant students in a summer learning program celebrated the end of their academy with a cultural fair Friday.

The Bakersfield City School District held a special cultural fair as a way to end the Migrant Education Department’s summer academy.

Participants in the program got the chance to show off everything they’ve learned and their projects to friends and family at the fair.

The director of the program said their migrant education program is only continuing to grow.
