Bakersfield College Auto Tech program receives master-level accreditation

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield College Automotive Technology program has been awarded the Mater Automobile Service Technology Accreditation.

The achievement of the master-level accreditation is a first in Bakersfield College history.

The Bakersfield College Dean of Instruction, Michele Bresso commented on the accomplishment.

“Our brilliant automotive faculty including professors Justin Flint, Andrew Haney, Vic Posey, and Rony Recinos are to be commended for their partnership and collaboration with local industry and community leaders to enhance BC’s program. With the support of these partners, BC is able to provide Renegades the opportunity to learn using the latest technology which leads to skilled employability within the local industry.”
