Bakersfield College held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for their new Aera STEM Success Center.
The center will help individuals advance in the field of engineering, science, and technology.
Several community members and the Chamber of Commerce attended the opening ceremony.
Funding for the new edition to the college came from both public and private donors. Aera Energy donated $500,000.
