BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield College is making some changes to their 105th graduation ceremony scheduled for this Friday after weather concerns and campus construction.
The college says they are moving the commencement from Memorial Stadium to Rabobank.
School officials say the new venue arrangement will prepare them for weather and also allow for students to invite as many people as they want to the ceremony.
More than 1200 students is expected to walk across the stage which is BC's largest graduating class in history.
The doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 7p.m.
