BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield College will offer Virtual Express Enrollment Support to Students August 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Counselors and support staff will be made available to assist students with their registration process, placement, enrollment and financial aid.

“Students can receive the one-on-one help they need to set themselves up for success in the fall,” said Ashlea Ward, program manager for Outreach and Early College. “The One-Day Virtual Express Enrollment Event makes it easy for students to handle every aspect in a single day, streamlining the process for them. We have support staff with a wide range of expertise to help new and returning students chart the course to achieve their educational goals.”

All services will be offered via Zoom.

BC is offering courses in a modified format, with strict health and safety measures to keep the campus safe and healthy.

“Now more than ever, it’s important for students to get the help they need to launch their career dreams,” said Steve Watkin, director of Outreach and Early College. “The enrollment process can be overwhelming, but the Virtual Express Enrollment Event makes it simple for students to get the help they need and become a Renegade in a single day.”

Students who are interested in enrolling can learn more about the event and sign up for a one-onone session online.
