BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Kern County will soon have another vaccination site as Bakersfield College says the student health center will administer shots once the doses are available to the public.

The college confirmed the approval Monday but hasn't said when the site will open. School officials said they're waiting for vaccine doses to be delivered to them.

In the meantime, Bakersfield College is looking forward to welcoming students to get their vaccine shots soon.
