Bakersfield community comes out for crash victim benefit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield community came together to raise money for the family of Marcellus Dangello Mizell Junior who died in a traffic collision earlier this month. His family saying the turnout was great to see.

"I'm saddened you know, of course, but right now with seeing all this," said Lisa Hannah. "It's just incredible."

The 28-year-old was riding his motorcycle when a vehicle collided with him on East Roberts Lane near Frontier Drive on August 10th.

Family and friends came together to hold a benefit fundraiser at Jerry's Pizza Sunday night.
