BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Bakersfield couple is celebrating a very special holiday season this year after their son was born on Christmas Day.
Sergio Fabian Cervantes Garcia was born at 12:21 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.
His parents — Sergio and Macrina Cervantes Garcia — said the early arrival of their son was the perfect Christmas surprise.
“I feel so blessed to have him this day since we were given a later date of birth, and it’s the most precious gift we could ever receive,” Sergio Garcia said.
Baby Sergio is the first boy born to the Garcia family. He will go home to be greeted by three big sisters.
