Bakersfield Design District and eight locally-owned home improvement companies hosted a special open house event that will take people on a tour around the world without leaving the city.
This event starts at 4 p.m. on October 7th at Urner's on Wible Road and is free to the public.
Business owners will be kicking off fall with inspirations for home improvement projects, they will be providing wines from around the world, and giving out prizes such as a new Moen faucet.
