Bakersfield Fire crews are battling a fire at an abandoned home in East Bakersfield.

According to BFD, the home, located at Bliss Street and East 3rd Street, was abandoned at the time of the fire. No one was injuried. BFD says they suspect squatters accidentally set the house on fire.

BFD was able to have the fire under control within two minutes.

Crews had responded to the house 2 weeks ago, when the home was fully engulfed. Today, buildings behind the house were left burned.
