The Bakersfield Police Department responded to a fire on Haley St. and Flower St. around 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning. 

The fire was at Pee Wee Market and Carniceria. 

Arson investigators are on scene and suspect the fire was intentionally set. Officials believe a small propane tank that was locked up outside was set on fire and that fire spread to the building. 

PG & E was on scene de-energizing power lines in the area to allow firefighters to work. 

Since the market has meat, the Kern County Department of Public Health is being called out to inspect the shop.
