Bakersfield Fire Department is sending 10 firefighters to help with the growing flames in Northern California.

More than a dozen wildfires continue to grow due to powerful winds throughout the California wine country, including Napa, Sonoma, and Yuba Counties.

These fires destroyed at least 1,500 homes and businesses while causing many to evacuate.
