The Bakersfield Fire Department is welcoming firefighters from Mexico. According to BFD, they've been working with the crews from Mexico since 2005.

Over the last 15 years the two fire departments have provided each other with fire service equipment like hoses during wildfire season.

The group of Mexican firefighters will arrive later this morning at fire station one on h street.
