CSU Bakersfield is hosting its 10th annual Celebrate CSUB event on Saturday.

The event is open to the public and runs from 9 AM to 1 PM at Runner Park on the campus of CSU Bakersfield.

One of the highlights of the event is the Bakersfield's Got Talent competition that is held around lunchtime.

Arthur Smith, the spirit coordinator for CSU Bakersfield, says that there are five finalist vying for the prize of Bakersfield's most talented act.

Other events include a Roadrunner science day for kids, sponsored by PG&E, orientation for newly admitted students and the chance to meet members of the CSU Bakersfield men's basketball team.
