BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Tonight at the Bakersfield City Council meeting, the Bakersfield Homeless Center Funding proposal was approved.
The proposal that passed asked the City Council for $200,000 to fund the Bakersfield Homeless Center. That vote was delayed to tonight's meeting.
Also at the meeting, Chris Parlier of the 7th Ward was elected the new Vice Mayor.
