A Bakersfield man was arrested Wednesday morning after stealing a U-haul.

Bakersfield police responded to a Jack-in-the-Box parking lot around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a stolen U-haul in the parking lot.

When police arrived the vehicle was occupied by a suspect. The suspect was ordered to get out.

Police found a loaded revolver in the pocket of 32-year-old William Erwin and arrested him. He was booked on charges related to the stolen vehicle and weapon found on person.
