On September 21, 2016, at 11:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to a house on Knights Bridge Place, east of Allen Road for a family peace disturbance.

While officers were en route, the suspect, Stephen Meda Jr., forced open the front door of his parents' home and stated he was going to kill his father, Stephen Meda Sr.
The suspect then stabbed Meda Sr., causing minor injury. Officers arrived and took Meda Jr. into custody. Meda Jr. was booked for attempted murder.
