BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Are you looking to buy your first home? This workshop could be for you. The local moms' group Bakersfield Moms is partnering up with a local real estate team to help first-time home buyers purchase their first home.
The event is Saturday April 27th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the second floor of 5016 California Avenue. The workshop is free for anyone to attend and is geared to young parents looking to buy their family's first home.
Topics the event plans to address includes what type of credit someone needs to purchase a home, how much money is needed for a down payment, how to get pre-qualified for a home loan and other challenges related to the home buying experience.
Free food and refreshment will be offered from Jersey Mike's.
