The Naval training facility in Central Bakersfield was burglarized in October and now Navy Sea Cadets are hoping to raise money to buy new uniforms.

The U.S. Navy Sea Cadet program is the official youth program of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, it currently has 25 students enrolled in the course.

To recoup the cost of the uniforms, parents of cadets are hosting a spaghetti dinner on March 19th at the NOR VFW at 400 E. Norris Rd.

Plates are $10, curbside to-go from 4pm-5:30 pm and a sit-down dinner will be served from 5 pm to 7pm. There will also be a raffle, prizes include:

  • Condors executive family 4-pack
  • Dewars gift card
  • Cruz Thru gift cards
  • Camarillo Jiu-jitsu lesson
  • Kookie Kraze gift certificate
