Bakersfield North Rotary and Chevron gave out backpacks Tuesday at the 3rd Annual Kindergarten Roundup Backpack Giveaway.
Nearly 400 students at Standard and Beardsley School Districts received them.
The principal at Standard Elementary said she wants to thank the Bakersfield North Rotary for their support of education in the community.
