BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — It isn't a 'ruff' life for the dogs of Bakersfield! A recent report ranks Bakersfield as one of the top cities in the country for dog parks.

According to The Trust for Public Land, Bakersfield ranks 18th in the country for the most dog parks per 100,000 people. According to the report, Bakersfield has eight dog parks, or 2.1 dog parks per 100,000 residents.

According to the report, Bakersfield tied with Long Beach for the 18th spot.
