Bakersfield Police officers said that they are requesting the community's assistance in locating and identifying a suspect who allegedly entered a Wal-Mart store in Northwest Bakersfield, stole items of value from the display rack and fled the business.

The woman is described as a Hispanic female in her 30's, with a heavy build, long black hair and wearing a black shirt with a "23" logo and blue jean pants. She is also identified with having a tattoo on her right arm according to police.

Anyone with information regarding the investigation or the identity of the suspect is asked to call BPD at (661) 327 - 7111 or Officer Felipe Juarez at (661) 326 -3554.
