The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for robbery.
On May 16, 2017 at 8:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Dollar General, located at 401 Union Avenue, and selected several items of merchandise.
The suspect exited the store without paying for the items, at which time a store employee confronted the suspect. The suspect removed a handgun, pointed it at the employee, and fled with the loss.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-20 years of age, 150-160 pounds, white facial hair, possible mustache, wearing a blue and white shirt, blue jeans and a long sleeve blue shirt tied on his head.
