Bakersfield police were searching for a suspect around noon on November 2 on Donna Avenue, east of Vista High School.

The suspect was running around with a replica firearm. Police took him into custody, and the replica gun was recovered.

Vista High School, McKinley Elementary and Emerson Middle were briefly placed on lockdown, but the lockdown was then lifted.
