BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two men were arrested after Bakersfield Police linked them to window smash burglaries at several businesses on Wednesday morning.
Officials said they received numerous burglary alarm calls between the hours of 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. at eight different businesses in Bakersfield. When officers arrived at a Subway on Coffee Road, which was one of the businesses reportedly burglarized, they came into contact with 23-year-old Shawn Ducreay 20-year-old Hardy Moore who tried running away.
Bakersfield Police were able to arrest the two men for all eight burglaries. Ducreay, who was also linked to a Teriyaki Bowl burglary from earlier this month, was arrested for nine counts of burglary and conspiracy. Moore was arrested for eight counts of burglary and conspiracy. They were both booked into the Kern County Jail.
