Missing at-risk elderly woman found

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: According to the Bakersfield Police Department, Christine Ramos, who is considered at-risk due to mental conditions, was last seen Sunday just before 8 p.m. on Amur Maple Drive near White Lane and Gosford Road. The CHP said thesilver alert has been deactivated as Ramos has been found safe.


The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 69-year-old woman, who suffers from mental health conditions.

Police say Christine Ramos was last seen Sunday at about 7:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of Amur Maple Drive near White Lane and Gosford Road.

Ramos is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. She has brown eyes, brown and was last seen wearing a burgundy t-shirt, blue denim shorts, white socks and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call BPD at 327-7111.
