Bakersfield Police asking for the public's help to track down a man suspected of robbing multiple auto parts stores

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a man suspected of multiple armed robberies at auto part stores.

According to BPD the first robbery was on February 28 around 6:30 p.m. at the O' Reilly Auto Parts on Ming Avenue near S. Real Rd.

The second incident happened at the AutoZone Auto Part store in Arvin on March 1.

On March 5, the O'Reilly Auto Parts on Highway 46 in Wasco was robbed.

Friday, March 6, the O'Reilly Auto Parts on Haley St. near Columbus Rd. was robbed around noon.

Police said the suspect is described as:

  • "Black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’10” to 6’0”, short black afro style hair, light complexion, tattoo on face under his left eye, tattoo of a “W” (similar to Washington Nationals Logo) on the right side of his neck, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black hat, black belt and light colored jeans."

Police said the suspect vehicle was described as:

  • "Mid 2000’s Buick Lacrosse, 4-door, gold in color"
