UPDATE 4:45 a.m.: BPD officials said the missing 12-year-old boy returned home safely shortly before five a.m. Saturday morning.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help to find a runaway missing juvenile.
According to BPD, 12-year-old Samuel DeLaCruz was last seen on Friday around noon on Canadian Street which is near S. H St. and Planz Rd.
Police said he is considered at-risk due to his age.
DeLaCruz is described as a Hispanic male, 12 years old, 5 feet tall, 95 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, last seen carrying a black backpack and a riding a pink skateboard.
Anyone with information is asked to call BPD at 327-7111.
