BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department Traffic Section is holding a DUI and Driver's License checkpoint this Saturday.
The checkpoint will be held somewhere within the city limits between 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment and checking for proper licensing.
Drivers caught driving impaired can expect jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes and other expenses that could exceed $10,000.
