BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Anyone interested in a career in law enforcement has the opportunity to learn more about joining the Bakersfield Police Department on Tuesday.

The BPD will host a virtual recruitment forum Tuesday at 4 p.m. for anyone interested in finding out more about what it takes to become a police officer within the force.

According to a Facebook post, BPD will be hosting a series of virtual forums in the coming weeks. It will allow anyone interested a chance to ask questions about the application and hiring processes.

The forums will be held on Facebook and Instagram.
