The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole items from the garage of a home in the 10600 block of Harpenden Avenue.

According to the police, the suspect "entered an open residential garage... and removed items from within."

The suspect then fled in a four door black Mitsubishi SUV.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35-45 years old with brown hair.
