Bakersfield Police are on scene of an injury crash in east Bakersfield.

Police said around 9 a.m. they responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash near Monterey St. and Baker St. 

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with moderate to major injuries. 

All eastbound traffic is shut down west of Baker St.
