Bakersfield Police Department searching for forgery suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for forgery.

According to the BPD, "On August 17, 2019, and August 20, 2019, the suspect depicted below passed multiple forged checks at several Kern Schools Credit Federal Union branches throughout Bakersfield, and attempted to pass an additional forged check at a branch in Delano."

The suspect is described as a Hispanic female between 25 and 35 years old. She has a heavy build with black hair and wears glasses.
