The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in east Bakersfield around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers responded to the 400 block of E. 10 St. near E. California and Union for reports of shots fired. 

Police found a 29 year old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, officials said his injuries are non-life threatening. 

Police are still searching for the suspects.
